Even in these difficult economic times, MAZON can and will continue to fulfill our tradition's obligation to provide food for people at risk of hunger. We pledge to honor our commitments to the domestic and international hunger-relief organizations that depend on us for funding. People living in poverty need our help and we will be there for them.

2009 National Psoriasis Walk for Awareness - Miami, Fla.

Walk for Awareness - 2008

Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, 8:30 a.m.
Aventura Mall near Macy's
19501 Biscayne Blvd. - Miami, Fla.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.; 1k and 5k walks begin at 8:30 a.m.

Come join CariDee English, America’s Next Top Model® 2006, at the Walk for Awareness!  CariDee has lived with psoriasis since she was 5 and has overcome great odds to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a top model.  CariDee wants to help spread awareness about psoriasis and educate others that they, too, can live their dreams.  Come hear CariDee share her experience with psoriasis and her desire to find a cure!

If you want to make a difference for those affected by psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, get active and Walk for Awareness!

Participants seek donations from friends, family and associates. All fund raising is done prior to the walk, eliminating the need to collect pledges after the event. Each walker is asked to raise $100 in tax-deductible donations. Many walkers exceed this goal. This site makes it easy!

  • Registration fee is based on age and participation level
    Adult (18+): $25
    Youth: $15
  • All participants receive a T-shirt
  • All ages welcome!
  • 1K (.62 mile) and 5K (3.1 mile) routes
