Rabbi Jonathan Berkun is the spiritual leader of the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center. Since his arrival in 2007, both the synagogue and its school, the Tauber Academy, have grown tremendously. Cantor Muchnick received his Cantorial investiture from Hebrew Union College  Jewish Institute of Religion School of Sacred Music in 2000. Having grown up in North Miami Beach,Cantor Muchnick attended the University of Miami, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Judaic Studies.
