with Rabbi Lauren Berkun Jewish Peoplehood and Modern Jewish Identity A monthly exploration of the concept of Jewish Peoplehood exploring the tension between the familial, ethnic aspects of Jewish identity and the religious, spiritual content of Jewish identity. In an era of individualism and the personal search for meaning, how do we understand the essence of Judaism as a collective, a People, a nation? Across Generations February 26th and/or March 25th SUNDAYS from 11:30am – 1:30pm ATJC Families are invited to take part in our discussion and Family Brunch series with ATJC Holocaust Survivors. Each brunch will include different testimonies, so participants are welcome to attend one or more of the sessions. Children must be at least 9 years old & accompanied by a parent or adult family member. Seating will be limited. There is no charge for ATJC members, however, reservations are required.
