ATJC Honors Executive Vice President, Dr. Amir Baron at the 2020 Gala Dinner Dance
For 30 years, Dr. Baron served as Executive Vice President of the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center. During these decades, Dr. Baron’s achievements and accomplishments became renowned throughout the community. Nevertheless, he always remained true to his
passion for learning and never strayed far from his roots as a teacher, educator, and former Director of the Lehrman Jewish Day School on Miami Beach. Dr. Baron earned his BA in education from Bar Ilan University in Israel and his Master’s and Doctorate in education
from the University of Pittsburgh. Jewish learning has forever been the cause for which Dr. Baron tirelessly worked throughout his professional life.

In honor of Dr. Baron’s retirement and in celebration of his many years of dedicated service we are hosting a Gala Dinner Dance with special guests Ambassador Ido Aharoni and world renowned musical guest, Dudu Fisher on Saturday evening, February 22, 2020. To mark
this occasion, we are proud to announce the establishment of the Dr. Amir Baron Education Endowment Fund. The Baron Education Endowment will provide vital support for our synagogue in perpetuity and will be used for programming with specific focus on topics
related to Israel and Jewish Education.

We are grateful to Dr. Amir and Susie Baron for initially seeding the Education Endowment Fund with their own generous bequest. We invite you to invest in the hearts and minds of future Jewish generations by making a commitment of your own to support and sustain our
synagogue’s educational programs in perpetuity.
